Thanksgiving in Baltimore

Thanksgiving in Baltimore

It’s that time of year, Christmas decorations are being put up, people are gearing for shopping on Black friday, but it’s time for Thanksgiving! For some people, they look right past this celebrated holiday, and look right towards the December holiday season. Thanksgiving is a time for family and great food! But the main purpose of this article is simple, to give thanks to all of our clients and readers. We appreciate you choosing the Law Office of Nicholas J. Del Pizzo. But in case you are looking for a new Thanksgiving tradition, you have come to the right place! Let’s take a look.

Play or watch football: The end of November always brings cool and brisk weather, the perfect weather for some football! It’s not too cold, nor warm, so grab the family and toss the pigskin around for a bit! Just make sure you do it before you eat dinner! Or, if you want to do something less taxing, turn the television to some NFL Football. The Ravens will not be playing on that day, but it is still a great post-meal tradition to sit back and watch some football.

Breaking the wishbone: Many people do this, many people do not. Each person grabs an end of the wishbone and makes a wish. When they break the wishbone, the person with the longer end is said to have good fortune moving forward. If they break it evenly, then both will have good fortune! It may seem silly, but it can be a fun tradition!

Take a nap: One of the best Thanksgiving traditions, bar none. After you have eaten an endless amount of turkey, gravy, mashed potatoes, and stuffing, it’s time to lounge on the couch and drift off to sleep. If you think this is not a real tradition, then you need to reevaluate your Thanksgiving traditions!

Give Thanks: This should be the core of everyone’s Thanksgiving activities. There is always something to be thankful for, whether it is your family, your friends, your job, etc. So before eating all of your food, tell your family and friends how thankful you are for them.

Speaking of giving thanks, thank you to all of the friends of our law office who have been with us over the years! We are thankful that you chose our law office to represent you, and hope to serve you and our community in the years to come!
